Trees for Troops
Trees for Troops continues to grow at Big Tree Plantation. Again in 2011 we will serve as a regional tree donation center. Your family can help the Christmas Spirit Foundation deliver the 100,000th Christmas tree to our active Military Heroes. Look for our booth at the Lebanon Christmas Parade on 12/3. Your donations make a difference. Thank you!

Night time Christmas Adventure!
Four Nights Only: Dec 1st & 2nd, Dec. 8th & 9th

We are going to LIGHT UP part of our field for a night time Christmas adventure. Choose a tree from the field or a precut tree inside our barn. Bring your family after work and enjoy all Big Tree has to offer for your family Christmas traditions. Our Gift Shop will be open and the Café will have plenty of Pizza, Chili and Funnel Cakes. Wagon rides, animals, a bonfire and of course our famous complimentary HOT CHOCOLATE will be available. See you after work!!

Christmas is actually not an event at Big Tree. Christmas IS Big Tree Plantation.
We spend the entire year getting ready for the 27 days after Thanksgiving. In fact, before Christmas arrives this year, we will be working on Christmas for the next year, and planting trees for 6-7 years down the road. This will be the 22nd year of selling Christmas trees at Big Tree and we are as excited today as when we started.
We get excited when we see a family come back year after year or even twice during the same season in order to “experience” the farm again. Families enjoying Big Tree has always been the goal. Yes, we love the trees and are thrilled when we have sold enough of them to get to do it all over again, but seeing families together, experiencing a piece of the true meaning of Christmas, warms our hearts.
On the weekends, we have an expanded animal area and a new kid’s area in order to add to your family options. Don’t be surprised to see Mary and Joseph and their burro again this year and you may hear some caroling.
New food items and fun are just some of what we hope you experience this year at Big Tree Plantation. Tractor rides and hot chocolate are all complimentary.
